What is the difference between ITS and IT’S? Let me say that it’s a shame you don’t know this, slappy!

ITS - used to show possession.

Example:

1. Its face looked all messed up, like a cat that got dragged through the street.
2. I suntanned naked. Now the skin of my penis is peeling off all on its own.

IT’S - a contraction of IT IS.

Example:

1. It is stupid to drag a cat though the street. It is also messy.
2. It’s going to be a long day.
